The center of all feelings, thoughts, revelations, and perceptions is the intellect.

Intellect is a divine endowment that is only a trait of humans. The combination of intellect and conscience is nature. Allah Almighty has bestowed every newborn child with nature, namely, intellect and conscience.

It is the saying of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him):

“Intellect is the foundation of my religion. ”

“Everything has a tool and equipment, and indeed, the tool of the believer is intellect.”

Everything has a ride, and the ride of man is intellect. Everything has a pillar, and the pillar of religion is intellect. Every nation has a preacher, and the preacher of the worshippers is intellect. Every merchant has capital, and the capital of the learned is intellect. Every house has a system, and the system of the houses of the truthful people is intellect.

Every uninhabited place is inhabited and the habitation of the hereafter is intellect, every traveler has a tent and the tent of the believers is intellect.

Although intellect is a God-gifted capability and a great blessing, yet training plays an important role in the evolution and decline intellect.

Sound upbringing leads to sound intellect, while poor upbringing leads to poor intellect.

7. The crude intellect is only temporal and worldly.
   
   
8. Common sense adorns both the world and the hereafter.
   
   
9. Virtuous people utilize common sense, whereas worldly people use crude intellect.
   
   
10. The man of crude intellect loves freedom, while the man of sound intellect loves bondage (to Allah Almighty).
    
    
11. Crude intellect is general and common sense is special.
    
    
12. Spiritual people have common sense.
    
    
13. The Reviver or Imam of the age is the treasure of perfect intellect.
    
    
14. Sound intellect leads to beneficial knowledge, and beneficial knowledge leads to righteous deeds.
    
    
15. A person with sound intellect considers temporary pain and distress as means of comfort and treasure for the future.
    
    
16. A person with common sense can become a means of salvation.
    
    
17. The man with sound intellect gets knowledge even from the ignorance of the ignorant.
    
    
18. Sound intellect makes a person act upon the knowledge.
    
    
19. Sound intellect never allows a person to be embarrassed in front of anyone.
    
    
20. Raw intellect can make a person happy, but it cannot give him salvation.
    
    
21. A man with sound intellect never commits disloyalty.
    
    
22. Eating and sleeping too much is poison to the soul and intellect.
