Consultation means seeking opinions, exchanging thoughts, and getting guidance from others. The purpose of consulting is to find a better, more efficient, reasonable, and easier solution to a problem.

Allah Almighty has blessed every human being with different abilities, thoughts, and ways of thinking. Regardless of how knowledgeable and
intellectual a person is, he still cannot be perfect in all matters. He needs guidance to solve different problems, issues, and difficulties. Because, except Allah, none has complete andfinal knowledge, that is why every human being needs an advisor, even if he holds the rank of Prophethood and Mysticism.

The Apostle of God (Peace be upon Him and His Progeny) used to consult his companions on many matters and accept the best advice.

Consultations increase love, unity, and trust in one another, it removes objections, doubts, and apprehensions, and clarifies interests, requirements, and strategy, making success easy and certain.

Without consultation, there is a threat of disagreement, distrust, and hypocrisy among individuals, which makes it impossible to acquire the objective and destroys discipline.

Consultation with sincere, honest, wise, and knowledgeable people is a guarantee of success, while consulting with ineligible, selfish, and hypocritical people is tantamount to hostility toward oneself because such consultation is shaky, disappointing, and evidence of failure.
