Regardless of his association with any sect, organization, or group, every Muslim believes in appearing before his Creator and Master, Allah Almighty, and giving accountability for his deeds. Along with believing in Allah Almighty, he also tries to please him according to his knowledge, intellect, strength, and ability. It is heard by most people that which of our deeds will be accepted. We do not know the measure of acceptance or rejection of our acts. We should be aware of the Measure of Acceptance in God’s Court, so that, human beings can get full belief and faith by recognizing their character while passing through the highway of deeds.
As found in the hadiths, the reward of deeds depends upon the intentions. But the meaning of intention is understood, and its importance is comprehended when the spirit and reality of sincerity are firmly established in the heart and mind. And it should be remembered that the value of anything is not because of its color, weight, volume, or quantity; instead, it is of its sincerity and purity. The word sincerity is ordinary and small. Still, its range is as much that its weight is heavier than a mountain, the breadth is broader than the sky, and the depth is far more profound than the oceans and of extraordinary importance.
Sincerity is the name of the reality which emits from the pure intention with true sentiments and makes the human body bound to do good deeds in the realm of contentment. If the purpose is sincere, then the tongue has effectiveness, and prayers and deeds are accepted in the court of God Almighty. Sincerity is such a light of faith, which causes identification of the personality in the society for the beauty of human character.
Sincerity is the foundation for every action. The action, which is excellent but devoid of sincerity, is like a body without a soul and does not get the position of acceptance in the court of God.
Deeds become ineffective if personal goals, objectives, worldly benefits, and fame are included in religious obligations, devotions, and charitable works. The supplications of the mentioned persons do not get the honor of acceptance in the court of God in difficult times. People whose deeds are free of sincerity, their souls are sick. They remain empty-handed despite doing everything. Such people are satisfied with their deeds, but they remain deprived of the satisfaction of heart and pleasure of spirit.
The faith of the people mentioned above declines, and their desires increase. The difference between halal and haram and permissible and non-permissible is finished for the fulfillment of desires. In such a situation, society gets engulfed in discrimination and injustice. It has become a daily routine to infringe on others’ lives, wealth, and honor to extinguish the fire of greed and desires. The deeds mentioned above transfer from one person to another like germs. Namely, an atmosphere of mutual competition has been created to achieve superiority. The ambiance of narcissism undermines the spirit of human compassion, sympathy, friendship, mercy, and self-sacrifice, and a peaceful society turns into hell.
Rulers and nobles do not abstain from drinking the blood of the subjugated and poor class under the pretext of service to humanity. They claim to goodness, but personal interests are included in their service to humanity. In such a case, the rights of needy people are severely affected. Moans and groans of the poor and oppressed people in the state of impoverishment shake the throne of God, so Allah becomes angry at man and brings such a series of calamities that are unbearable for man.
Doctors with medicine, scientists with inventions, researchers with research, intellectuals and intellect, politicians with politics, and scholars with knowledge try to finish such a painful and life-threatening situation. Still, despite all their efforts, the circumstances of society get worse instead of getting better.
The dirt of sins and impurity paralyzes the hearts and minds of the people. The sense of nothingness is harassing a person despite having everything. Reasons remain bound in the tortures of slavery despite the freedom and do not get rid of mental torment. The fear of being guilty without crime is always imposed. The element of low intelligence and stupidity become so dominant, and insight, foresight, and wisdom become so dim that a person is entirely unable to understand the real point.
By adopting those beautiful and golden traits, all the chapters of life brighten and closed doors open, and all the vicissitudes of human life come to an end, which removes all the fears of worry and makes a person fearless and bold.
God Almighty has deposited those golden treasures in purity and sincerity in the human body and yeast. Still, instead of traveling inward, man forgot himself and piled dirt and filth on the great gem-like sincerity. Man has ruined his life and the lives of others by making impurity and duplicity way of his life.
At the time when human actions and thoughts become devoid of sincerity and come under the influence of selfishness, and force a human being to transgress. Human being adopts unnatural and immoral forms like animals. To eliminate such a terrible situation, human beings should go out on the quest for sincere spiritual personalities. Those people are embodiment of sincerity; every action of them is colored and enlightened with purity, cleanliness, and beauty. After discovering such pure and genuine spiritual personalities and getting training from them, human beings will be able to get such a gem of sincerity and purity that creates a spring-like view of the Earth, which has faded in the autumn. Illumination will emerge from the pure breasts of devotees and light up every human being with its light effect. When the candle of sincerity and purity enlightens the world of existence, man will become clean, fragrant, and a paragon of beauty from the inside.
Sincerity and purity will wash a person from inside and outside, making him flawless and faultless. Allah is pure and likes purity. Allah’s paradise is pristine and the abode of refined people. We cannot deserve his mercy and forgiveness with filth, impurity, and duplicity. An inner and outer appearance decorated with sincerity can guarantee happiness and salvation for us. Otherwise, being satisfied with actions lacking sincerity and considering oneself entitled to God’s reward is a deception of the self and Satan, which ends in shame and death.
